Hi, my name is Brad Woods, and I am the owner and founder of Outcast Motorsports!
To understand where the idea of forming a freestyle motocross organization first started... lets travel back to the early 70's. For me as a kid, my Saturdays revolved around the TV show "Wide World of Sports" and the anticipation of the next Evel Knievel jump. He was my hero as a kid. The energy that he brought to this young man living in rural Nebraska was second to none. A rebel attitude and ground breaking, never before seen events still play daily in my mind. A few words from Evel Knievel...."A daredevil is someone that is scared to death of what he is about to do....but does it anyway!" It was my life, a reason for living, the thrill of the moment, TO BE AN OUTCAST and go against the grain.
Motor sports in general have played a role in this family's daily life. In 1991, our first son Taylor was born. From the young age of 2 years old, he was pulling wheelie's and jumping off steps on his Big Wheel.We saw that the past was about to become the present. We went to our first X-Games in 1996 and we were all hooked on the extreme sports phenomenon. Though FMX was not an X-Games event at the time, it was something different. Not that conventional sports aren't great, but that daredevil thrill was to be found in Freestyle Motocross. In 2003, as Taylor became more interested in FMX, we decided to invest in good equipment as we had seen some of the substandard equipment that some of these young men were forced to use. Let's be honest, what makes the sport so extreme is the thrill of the unknown! What could happen? What might happen? Making it more dangerous with "SHABBY" equipment was not an option.
That brings us to the future. The future of FMX....OUTCASTMOTORSPORTS! We are a family run, turn key, operation. We hope that you as riders and /or event organizers
will choose us for your next event!
